Yukga Korean BBQ: Satisfying Premium Aged Meat
Just random weekdays I and my husband crave to eat Tom Yum soup and fortunately we always passed by this restaurant along Escario street that offers Southeast Asian street food so we parked our car and walked inside this quirky yet fancy-looking restaurant.
Upon entering, I find the music interesting because they were playing Thai, Vietnamese, and Malaysian songs, it perfectly matches the vibe of the place.
We got our seats at the corner and ordered light snacks for us since we will be having dinner with our friends later.
I really took my time to check their menu and I was really impressed that they have a variety of food to choose from.
I made my choice and while waiting for hubby’s order I decided to go to their washroom and again I was impressed with the interiors, it’s also cute but I wasn’t able to take photos inside because I was in a hurry that time maybe next time I’ll take a selfie because it really is Instagram worthy.
For our starters, we tried the Goi Cuon it’s a Vietnamese fresh shrimp spring roll and I super loved it. The food presentation is simple but the spiciness of the sauce and the crisp lettuce offer a well-balanced taste and texture.
We also got ourselves Tom Yum Goong since this is the real reason why we dine after all. It’s not the usual Tom Yum that we tried but the flavors complement our taste. The noodles used were thin and the spiciness level is just perfect.
Of course, I have to try their Roti Gluay, based on the picture on the menu I find it interesting how a Thai street banana pancake with condensed milk tastes, and what can I say? I’m loving it!
This restaurant also offers party trays for their best-selling noodles and other dishes.

Banana Pancake Trail Cebu offers a variety of Asian cuisine that is worth trying so definitely I will be back here to try their famous special Pad Thai and their Hainanese Chicken.
For more updated menus you can check their FB Page https://www.facebook.com/BPTCebu and you can also visit their other branches in Sugbu Mercado IT Park and The Grid in Talamban.
See you on my next food trip experience! Bye 💚
